This morning I attended The Council for the Written Word's spring fiction workshop, featuring author Susan Gregg Gilmore. Her first novel, Looking for Salvation at the Dairy Queen, even captured this mostly-non-fiction reader.
With a background in music journalism and business speak, Amy currently focuses her creative energy writing free verse poetry and haiku. The southern-born, northern-bred Michigander-turned-Tennessean-turned-Michigander likes circular things -- CDs, vinyl records, typewriter keys, conversations and tostadas.
