There is no good, let alone final answer about suffering and loss. This is a question of embracing the paradox. What I care about is that my life not be stripped of meaning and beauty in the here and now by overeager busybodies bent on converting me to their atheist cult or by religious zealots who soft-peddle lies about a God who solves everything.
